Blowin' in the Wind - Chapter 4 part 2 - The Bet
BackThis is a short chapter to clarify the bet. I realized the way I put it in the story, it's not that clear. Joe and Erin sat awhile, just thinking. They decided to write rules for the bet, so they wouldn't end up fighting about it later(A/N: This is after the party). *THE RULES: This bet is to prove whether Erin actually has a sense of humor or not...* Erin read and slapped Joe lightly. He laughed and continued writing. *She is to laugh at least once every day. It is to be a real laugh, and not forced. If she fails to do so, Joe wins. If Erin laughs, it cannot be a snort, giggle, or chuckle. It has to be a loud, clear laugh. If Joseph wins: Erin promises to wear pink everyday for two months. The pink must be a clothing item, it cannot be just an accessory. The clothing item must be visible, and it must clearly be pink; no dark-almost-red- or almost-white-pinks. I agree to these terms and conditions: Signature: ERIN M. C******* (A/N: haha you can't know what meh last name is. But hey, maybe if you can guess it you could get a prize!) If Erin wins: Joseph must cease all funny business. He is not allowed jokes, smart-ass comebacks/comments, or child-like behavior. If he violates these conditions, Erin will be considered forever superior to him.* Joe scoffed as Erin wrote the conditions of her victory. But hey, like she'd actually beat him? Yea, right. He could tell if she was faking a laugh, so winning this would be easy. *I agree to these terms and conditions: Signature: Joseph A. Jonas* He signed his name with a big grin on his face, and Erin hung the rules on her wall. She shuffled through her desk and took out a calender. She'd mark off the days she laughed for the two weeks, which was how long the bet would take place. After two weeks she would win if she had laughed everyday. She figured this would be easy. She laughed at almost everything, Joe was just oblivious. She would most definitely win The Bet. Please comment! Tell me what you think of the bet, and who you think will win!!
