Change Chapter 13
BackChapter 13! Again I am so sorry for not posting earlier... I don't really want to talk about it... Let's just say I feel like crap because I told my date that I didn't want to go to the prom with him... ============ I finally walked up to her door, took a deep breath, and walked in. I saw Aurora wrapped in a cast and there were blood stains on the sheets. I was holding back the tears. I am so stupid! This is all my fault! If I went to where I heard the scream, Aura wouldn't be laying here in this hospital bed! And I just slept through it! I saw her chest barley rise and fall. I walked over and sat in the chair next to her. "Aura..." I quietly said as a tear finally escaped my eye. [Aura's POV okay this will get really confusing! Aura isn't awake. It's like one of those aura ghosts (a.n that sounds so weird!). Like when someone is dead, how there are 'ghosts' still walking the earth, yeah like that. Except in this case, it's when someone is about to die and their aura (sounds so weird!) separates from their body and walks the earth. She can see everyone, but no one sees her. I hope you understand what I mean!] Nick? Wait what happened? Oh! Last night! The tree fell on me and I climbed out, but I was too tired to move another step. Nick was... crying? Oh gosh! Nick!!! I smiled as I ran over to him and tried hugging him, but my arms just went through him. "Nick?" I asked hoping he would reply. There was no response. I looked at my body. It was glowing with white around it. DAMN! My aura. I... I'm dead!?!?!? No! That can't be!!! (a.n I was read this book called {The Secret Life Of The Immortal Nicholas Flamel} The Alchymest and the characters were talking about auras and how each of them have different feels and colors. Obviously it isn't real, but I'm using that idea here) "Aura... this is my fault" I heard him say through his tears. "No! Nick!!! It's not your fault!!!" I said still trying to hug or kiss him. I just kept going through him. "It's not your fault..." I quietly said, giving up hope. "I know I overreacted about the Kevin thing... but I just kind of freaked out when I saw you almost kiss another guy" He said with a frown. "No! You had every right!" I said fighting back. Maybe I could do something... give him a signal... hmmm. I walked over to my body and saw I was hooked on life support. The monitor was beeping, so I am still alive. Whew! I grabbed my arm... wait! I can touch my body, but not anything else! I grabbed my arm again and moved it. "Aura?!?!" Nick said shocked. I smiled. I grabbed my head and made me nod. "Are you awake?!?!" I sighed. I shook my head no. "What's happening?" He quietly asked. I didn't know what to do now... I grabbed my hand and made it pat right next to me. He quickly sat down where I touched. "Aury?" He said shaking me. The monitor went dead and it made a 'bbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep' noise. My mouth dropped as Nick started to panic. "AURA!!! NO!!!! NO!!! YOU ARE NOT GONNA DIE ON ME!!!" Nick screamed as he tried doing CPR. The monitor went 'beep... beep... beep' oh my gawd! Nick saved my life! I owe him a lot. I looked at my wrists and saw the previous cuts that I had made trying to kill myself a while ago. I'm glad that I chickened out! "I love you Nick" I said smiling. "I love you too" He said smiling back. Wait! Back this hybrid car up! D-did I just speak? "Nick can you hear me?" I asked. No response. I was getting fed up with this. I saw the front door swing open and saw Kevin run in. I did NOT want to see him right now. "Kevin! Get out! Only one person at a time" Nick snapped. "I don't care! Is she okay?!?!" Kevin desperately asked. "What's it to you?!?" Nick said as he started to tear a little. I smiled at the gesture. "What happened?!?" "I DON'T KNOW" Nick yelled. "Whoa... sorry I asked" Kevin said quietly. Then all of a sudden they started arguing again. When I heard Kevin say something, I got furious. "Don't be jealous because she loves me!" Kevin snapped. My mouth dropped as I looked at Nick's face. His whole face was red and tears were falling fast down his --gorgeous- cheeks. I felt so bad and so MAD at Kevin! "JUST BE QUIET!!!" I yelled, thinking no one could hear me. The room quickly fell dead silent. I looked at my arms and saw the white aura was fading. I waited for about 2 seconds, and then the next thing I knew, I was looking at the ceiling. I sat up and realized I was back in my body. I looked at Kevin and Nick who were staring at me- Nick was smiling- ============ I have written half of chapter 14, so I'm gonna write the other half right now :]
