NFL Preseason Football Philadelphia vs New England Quick Hitter Selection from Gamblers Television

The Philadelphia Eagles travel to New England for a preseason game on Thursday with the Patriots a 3-point favorite. Tom Brady hasn't played in a preseason game this year and it's unlikely he will see much action here. Brady is nursing a sore foot and is reportedly receiving treatments this week. Eagle coach Andy Reid usually rests all of his starters in the 4th preseason game so expect a regular season dress rehearsal for the Eagles in this game. With Jim Johnson's regular season defense on display you will see plenty of blitzing so it may be a good idea to rest Brady in this spot. So with Matt Cassell, Matt Gutierrez and rookie Kevin O'Connell behind center against the Eagle regular season D I want no part of the Patriots here. Take Philadelphia +3.
