~ Please Be Mine ~ Season 2: Forever Love [Ep. 14 Part 3]
BackRECAP: Nick found out Alexa had left and he told everyone what had happened the night before. He was going to head for the airport to head to Atlantic City. What will happen next? Find out now! :] (A few hours later) (It looked just the same as it had looked 13 years ago. It would've looked much nicer if it was July instead of the beginning of December. The air was brisk and the wind slapped Alexa's cheeks when she walked over to the jungle gym. The dark gray clouds were hovering above her and she knew it would probably pour at any moment, but getting soaked from the rain was the least of her problems.) Alexa: (Thinks: Maybe I shouldn't have freaked out and left..I'm sure Nick didn't mean to hurt me..but why wouldn't he answer my question? I mean, sure..it's a serious question, but he just blew it off like he didn't even care. But he said he DOES care about me and I believe him..) (The air smelled salty and she could hear the waves crashing on the sandy beach across the path. Seagulls circled the air and she breathed in and the familar smell of the beach welcomed her back to her childhood memories. She wondered if Nick and them noticed she was gone yet. If so, did they care? Of course she knew her mom would! She hated leaving like that, knowing she probably gave her mom a heart attack, but she couldn't stand spending another minute in the same place as Nick. She knelt in the sand. That was where she had first met Nick. He had walked over wearing an adorable bathing suit and a white t-shirt. He had smiled his small - but insanely cute - smile. His brown hair wasn't exactly curly yet and he was much shorter than he was now.) (Flashback) Young Nick: (Walks towards her) Hey. I'm Nick. What's your name? Young Alexa: Alexa. Young Nick: Oh hi. (Laughs) Are you hear for the beach? Young Alexa: Uh huh. My Mama took me here to the park. Young Nick: That's cool. My parents and my brothers Joe and Kevin are over there. (Points) [A.N. At this time, Nick was 6, Joe was 9 and Kevin was 11.) Young Joe: (Calls out) Nick we have to go soon! Young Nick: I'll be there in a minute. (Turns back to Alexa) Well it was nice meeting you. Young Alexa: You too. Young Nick: I'll see you later..maybe. (Turns around and then trips over pail) Young Alexa: Are you okay? Young Nick: Yeah I'm fine. (Laughs and stands up) Bye Alexa. Young Alexa: Bye, Nick. ???: ALEXA!! (A clash of thunder brought Alexa back to reality as she heard her name being called again.) ???: ALEXA!! (A raindrop skidded off Alexa's cheek and then another..and another. Soon, it was starting to pour. Alexa turned around, trying to figure out who was calling her name. All of a sudden she saw a head of curls that was attached to a boy named...) Alexa: Nicholas? Nick: (Sprints towards her) (By this time, they are both soaking wet.) Alexa: What are you doing here? How did you know where I was? Nick: I came to say I was sorry. I didn't mean for you to take my answer to your question the wrong way. I really DO love you and I was afraid to tell you my real answer. Believe me, the right time will be coming. I'm really sorry. I never meant to hurt you. Alexa: (Starts to cry a little) I'm sorry too, Nick. I shouldn't have freaked out like that. I was just...I don't know. All I know is that I love you with all my heart and I never wanna leave you again. Nick: (Wraps arms around her and pulls her in for a hug) And I never wanna let you go. Alexa: (Looks into his eyes) Nick: (Brushes fingers across her cheek and takes her hand and leans in and kisses her) [A.N. Kissing in the rain with the one you love...how romantic..:) ] (Everything was finally okay. Nick and Alexa left the park and left everything in their past behind them, but they remembered to pack up the good times and bring them along with them in the suitcase of their heart. Nothing else mattered to them at that moment except that they were in love and were with each other. Nick sang his heart out at his show that night, his heart burning with love and admiration for Alexa. Nothing could change that. Alexa made sure to look into Nick's eyes before heading to her room at the hotel later that evening. She always believed that if you look into that special someone's eyes, you find another world that only you can see. And when she looked into Nick's eyes...she saw the greatest world there is..and she was a part of it...) "When you look me in the eyes and tell me that you love me, everything's alright when you're right here by my side. When I hold you in my arms, I know that it's forever. I just gotta let you know, I never wanna let you go, 'cuz when you look me in the eyes and tell me that you love me, everything's alright when you're right here by my side.
