Central Unix Service, University of Cambridge: final hours
BackCUS was a Solaris machine operating from 1991-2008. The final hours as seen by an (emulated) BBC Micro running the PHX ROM, which was written at Cambridge for use with the Phoenix mainframe. A serial-telnet device driver and an SSH tunnel connected the BBC to CUS - flow control got a bit mangled on the way. Emulator was BeebEm for Windows
